Automatic Event Handling does not work

Hello,

I have some problem when an event is triggered in hp sim, the automatic event handling does not work. Basically when one event from the list is occurred, the automatic event handling should send automatically an email, but when I check the task results, the task was not run.

Still need to test, but it looks like my HP Insight Event notifier Service was not started and would not start.

event error 7024.

i found a cure for this -

Navigate to %systemroot%\system32\CIMntfy\
Right click on lwconfig.exe and run as Administrator.
Configure with a valid smtp server.

The service is now running and I am awaiting an influx of alerts ;)
