Failed got the data from host server

HI all,'

i am new user on this and i have an issue . for example i have 1 server DL380 G5 using Solaris 10 installed on this server. already install healt agent, ILO agent, CPQary , QMH and SMH .if i open SMH using firefox , all agent success collect the data and it can display on SMH using fire fox. an then install HP system insight management on another pc using Windows 7 Pro SP1, and my question is :

1. how can the server send the data to the HP SIM application on that PC.so i can monitor the server from the PC. i believe it must using SNMP for this matter. because i am a new user, i got a little confuse for this configure the SNMP.conf

2. i am tried setting the email event but still got error msg, "unable connected to the host server" . already configure smtp server to : smtp.gmail.com and with the user and account like the outlook ..
