Every day at about the same time I get the following error message on a server being monitored by my Insight Manager server
Logon Failure:
Reason: Unknown user name or bad password
User Name: administrator
Domain: .
Logon Type: 3
Logon Process: NtLmSsp
Authentication Package: NTLM
Workstation Name: Insightmgr

The workstation name is the name of my Insight Manager server. I've tried to change the admin pw on the monitored server to the same as the Insight Manager server but no luck.

Thanks

Check to see if the Login Failure coincides with HPSIM's discovery or Identification process.

I had a similar issue with an APC UPS with Web Admin front end, it treated the device identification from HPSIM as a login failure.

You'd either need to remove that device from monitoring or possible just remove some of the discovery protocols for that device.
