How to supress 'Not reachable' alerts?

Hi Experts,

Is there a way we can eliminate the 'system is no longer reachable' alerts in SIM?

We have another tool in place to report ping failures and these SIM alerts are like duplicates as both the tools are integrated to create single alert view.

Any suggestion will be of great help.

You could modify the automatic event handling in HPSIM to exclude certain alerts from emailing in your environment. You could then create an additional automatic event Handler to automatically clear the alert as it is recieved.

Both things can be found in Options -> Discovery
