p6300 don't send trap

Hi,

I use hp insight manager 7.0 for manage my hardware components of my hp servers.

I have 2 enclousure:

-eva 8400
- p6300

I receive hardware broke only for eva8400 and not from p6300. Where Could I check in sim detect this hardware?

Are you using CommandView on the P6300?

See the Insight Remote Support Release Notes: EVA section for details.

Also you have to have CommandView 9.4 to monitor P6300, basically need to discover the CommandView server to receive events.

The CommandView server is a proxy into the EVAs for monitoring.

Hi,

I resolve the problem. I don't know that in eva console I must set snmp....

I set snmp on the eva console (for the enclousure that have not snmp) and works!
