HP Insight Control, MSCS Cluster, 6.3->7.1 Upgrade

Greetings,

I can't find any docs related to upgrading subject installation.

There is only fresh install guide: Deploying HP SIM 7.0 on MSCS clusters on MS Windows 2008 with SQL Server 2008

First, I plan to shutdown standby cluster and run integrated installer on active node.

Second is start standby cluster, move HP IC services to it, then shutdown other node and run integrated installer.

Am I on the right way?

hi there...i'm doing the same thing.....2 node 2008 R2 x64 cluster.

Hi there, I'm running a SQL cluster with SIM 6.3 and will be upgrading to 7.1.1. My Question is none of the HP SIM services are running as cluster resources so do I need to still upgrade the Cluster by shutting down the secondary cluster service first as the documentation states? Doing 2 installs (first Pri cluster then Sec cluster seems a little risky if something is slightly different when doing 2 separate installs).
