HPSIM and Windows Server 2012?

Hi All!

Anyone know when HPSIM/Insight Control will be supported on Windows Server 2012.

I have seen that HPSIM/Insight Control is supported to be hosted on a SQL Server 2012.

But nowhere to find when it will be able to be installed on a Windows Server 2012 or the possibilty to manage a Windows Server 2012.

Anyone?

Hi,

in the HP SIM 7.1 Hotfix readme there's something about Windows Server 2012:

But nothing about that you can install HP SIM on W2k12...

I think it won't be before next year that HP brings support for W2k12 on CMS...

And anyway I would wait for the first Hotfixes to be released since it's not always the best thing to install HP SIM on a total fresh OS... (just my opinion based on what I experienced in the last years)

"HP SIM 7.1" installation is not supported on Windows Server 2012

Though you can manage (monitor) Windows Server 2012 with "HP SIM 7.1.2"
