Hi there,

I'm using HP SIM 7.1 with VCRM 7.1 and everything was working great until the last automatic update, after which the VCRM started deleting files from the repository. And no matter how many times I put them back or upload a PSP, it will eventually delete them again.

Is anyone else having this problem and did you find a solution? Reinstall perhaps? :(

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

did you check the configuration of the VCRM?

Are all necessary OS still selected in the OS List?

Regards,

Ville

Yip, all operating systems in my environment have been selected.

But I picked up another weird thing the other day when I was attempting to deploy agents to some new servers. The deployments were failing for no apparent reason. So I did some investigating and found that HP SIM was trying to deploy packages that did not exist in the repository (but which were there a few days prior).

From the VCRM logs I could see that it decided to delete those as well. I copied the files back to the repository and retried the deployment, which ran fine. VCRM deleted the files again later, though.
