HP -SIM Updates

Is there a way I can syncronize the PSP / Firware updates in the ineternet specially the PSP/Fimware (version control repository) Our objective is download the updates from the HP and directly download in our HP SIM

OS: windows 2008 R2

Version: HP SIM 6.3

Please advise how to syncronize the updates

Hi,

Inside VCRM Version Control Repository Manager you can set a schedule so that VCRM will connect daily to the HP servers to download automatically all updates available on the HP servers...

But, I dont' find any option regarding the scheduled and proxy

I found tab only for "Update from HP.COM now"

Is there any configuration option that I can set proxy to check in daily basis to check the new updates from HP

Hi,

That is the place to be...

You select Chqnge repository & updqte settings

In there you can enable Automatic Update

By default is is every day at 12AM but you can change this off course...

If your server where SIM and VCRM is running don't have internet access, you will need to work with a proxy...

Just click the button Set Proxy Server...

What is the port requirement to connect in HP ?
do we need ftp access or internet access ?

Hi,

I am not sure, I assume it is FTP but I canot check it for the moment...

If you have access to the proxy server, just check the logs... It is one of the two...
