Does anyone have a quick way of acertaining which version of this is in use?

For a single system the easiest way is to browse to port 2301/2381 and the login screen will have a version tag in the lower left part of the screen. If you have single-signon setup and you do not get a login screen then the main homepage has the same tag in the lower left hand part of the screen.
