    <description>I assume you are talking about System management Homepage. If yes,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Possible reason for the "System Model: Unknown" problem is SNMP settings. Can you check if the SNMP service is running and also has proper community string set?.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you restart the SNMP service and Management Agents on that system and also the HP System Management Homepage ? This should resolve this problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are talking about Device product type shown as "unknown" in HPSIM, then do the same thing above and then rediscover the device in HPSIM.       <title>Unmanaged server</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Running SIM version 7.10 - have installed onto the following ok:&lt;BR /&gt;ml370,dl380,dl360 and 5500.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However still have some servers showing as either umanaged or unknown - even though they are the same type of server as above.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>I think, problem is with windows default SNMP settings - "destination address" - default accept only from localhost. You have to change this and add IP address of your SIM server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Andrzej&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Same issues here...  System Model: unknown -- have case open with HP.   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is not SNMP settings -- they are all correct.  7.20a PSP is buggy and not been tested throughly for upgrading older agents.</description>
