Upgrade to HP SIM

Is it possible to upgrade from CIM V7 to HP SIM or do you have to do a clean install of HP SIM and set everything up from scratch? Some pointers in the right direction will be useful!

I too am about to go down this route due to the decommisioning of IM7. Has anyone else started to look into it. I am trying to forsee the growing pains involved.
