Script for creating collections

Hello folks:

I have set up 2 CMS for a customer who has over 2000 locations with an average of 3 Proliant and MSA at each site. I need to set up each site as a collection. Each CMS will monitor roughly half of the locations. Instead of manually setting up each collection, I'm looking for a sample script that I can modify to suit my scenario. Some of the collections have already been created manually so I will have to modify the script to skip those when encountered.
