Hello,
on our SIM configuration C.05.03.01.00 , we are monitoring many server HP-UX and I noted that for some server hp-ux 11.31 or 11.23 the health status is MINOR setted because the status of one network interface is stopped.
But for hp-ux view this interface is simply not configured or not used.
So my question is : can I clear or acknoledge this status ?
Thanks, in advance
Maurizio

Yes you can clear it in the even log, but the health of your server will remain yellow as long as the port will be unplugged.

I had to assemble homemade loopbacks and plug them in each unused port to fix this. I think I saw someone in the forums who found a way around this without using loopbacks and don't remember what it was.

Olivier.

Okay so you can disable the stopped LAN ports in SMH with the updated provider, but SIM still won't get rid of the minor health warning icon for the server. I've tried reidentifying and everything. Argh.
