HP SIM Discovery process

I installed HP SIM v7.0 (going with the Typical setup....)

Now, Just to have the discovery of all the servers in my environment what all i need need to know and need to do from my side on CMS? or it will discover all the servers automatically in the network?

You need to do the following:

Read the user guide (low blow I know but come on!)
Set up read snmp community strings on the CMS (and all targets)
Go to the discovery setup and enter the IP ranges you wish to discover.

You have a lot of things to consider/configure (which you may already have done). You need to decide on the protocols you want to use, ensure agents are installed on the server, and any SNMP/WBEM credentials/certificates.

The example is for Windows - for Linux you have some other things like SSH to consider, and others for VMware (WBEM).
