    <description>&lt;P&gt;Did anyone find a solution to this? I'm running into the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With or without authentication is tells me it can't connect to the SMTP host.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Iam trying to configure the email settings in HP SIM 5.3 as below with my gmail account, but unsuccessfull.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;smtp host: smtp.gmail.com&lt;BR /&gt;sender's email address : iqbal7000@gmail.com&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I try to "Send Test Mail" , SIM throws the error " couldnot connect to smtp host "&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But I can able to configure email settings successfully using my company email account.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can any one help me out on this ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Iqbal&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem. I agree that HP SIM doesn´t support TLS auth. My version is the last one HP SIM 7.2. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tested with Yahoo smtp which work without TLS and worked fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
