I need to rebuild the OS on the machine that houses the SIM server. The SIM database is on a seperate MS SQL server.

Is it as simple as backing up the DB, reinstalling SIM and restoring the DB? I have read in other posts about exporting/importing the hosts, but my biggest concern is trusted certificates --

TIA
Terry

The best thing to do is to take that certificate and configure it into the Foundation Agent in your ProLiant Support Pack. Use VCRM to create a 'custom' support pack that only contains the Foundation Agent and then use "Initial PSP Install" to distribute...

OK - that makes sense, and I'm glad to hear about that.

I have the SIM server set to 'trust by certificate' and all of the certs for the servers that I'm managing in the 'trusted certificates' list. So basically I want to ensure that I don't break the trusts or lose all of those certificates...
