      <title>SIM Release and support Cycle</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm looking for "official" info on the release cycle and according support cycle for System Insight Manager.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All I could find is &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/supportmatrix.html"&gt;http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/supportmatrix.html&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and the official support Matrix PDF &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://h20564.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/kb/docDisplay/?docId=emr_na-c03667456"&gt;http://h20564.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/kb/docDisplay/?docId=emr_na-c03667456&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This leads to the conclusion HP SIM is oficially supported (only) 1 year after release, but gives no straightforward information on when to expect a new major or minor release.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My beleive is this follows teh release cycle for Proliant hardware? Is this correct?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
