HP SIM 7.2 reports wrong OS Name

Hi,

I've some servers on my HP SIM that are showing a OS Name that it's not correct.

Ex.:

ServerA on HPSIM has the following information:

- OS Name: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, x64 Standard Edition Service Pack 2

- OS Version: 5.2

ServerA on HP SMH has the following information:

- OS Name: Windows Server 2008 R2, x64 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 1

- OS Version: 6.1

How can i resync the SIM so it shows the correct information (HP SMH).

make sure reverse lookup is working correctly so Hp sim aasociates the right server with the right IP.

Then, in HP SIM, slect options - identify systems. This will update all system data.

Check if SMH is listed as managemnt protocol for the server.
