Automatic update distribution

Hello community,

I want HP SIM to check if there are any new software updates for my managed servers. If so HP SIM should download these updates and install them automatically. I really don't know if HP SIM is able to do this but it would be nice to know that.

Hp SIM can automaticly download support packs and provide you ways to isntall these using the 'Version Control' add-in.

These support packs include updates for drivers,firmwares and hp managemnt tools/agents.

note this absolutely doe not include windows updates!!

The solution with the "Version Control" sounds interesting. Can I integrate Version Control into HP SIM or does it need a own installation on the server?

Is there any need to install anything on the managed servers to enable "Version Control" to install new software, for example any agents etc.?
