Hello there people,

Have you tried the B version of this spp? Could be that this xml is corrupted. Also did you update the VCRM to the latest version included with the SIM installation?

Kind regards,

Andrew

Hi all,

after upgrading HP SIM to version 7.2 all servers in SIM showing now that software status is unknown. All servers are assigned to latest baseline ( 2013.02.0 ) . I have executed software status pooling task for several times, but it makes no difference.

I can list installed software on server but it seems that this software is not compared agains VCRM.

How can I resolve this problem ? Thanks.

Keep in mind also how SW Status Poling and data collection has changed since 7x

Here is the nuts and bolts of that change...

http://worldofinsight.wordpress.com/2012/04/24/hpsim7-setting-baselines-and-software-status/

I did someone remedied a similar situation by removing the SPP baseline, re-applying the baseline and running SW status polling again.

Might be worth a shot - please post back if you tried it and it worked.

Hello again,

Quiet in here, the baseline it self is a questionmark so the problem is with the VCRM. Did you check the VCRM status from the system management homepage of the server running the VCRM(most of the time the sim server)?

You can aways uninstall the VCRM software and reinstall and or readd a new SPP.

Kind regards,

Andrew
