Cannot install HP SIM 7.2

Hi, I have a problem when I install hp sim, then pops up an error, in the log says that the installation could not connect to database, I install database SQL for hp sim distr, then I try install HP SIM to another Server, but have this problem again, what I must do?

Hello there,

So do you use the included SQL Express installer or do you have a remote SQL server?

If the SQL is remote or not the Express version what version of SQL do you use ?

What port does your SQL use ? The default 1433 or an other port ? Is the user you use for the installation sysadmin in SQL ?
