Hello.

I like to upgrade to v7.4 from v7.3

We have migrated the database from SQL 2008 (remote) to SQL 2012 Expres SP1 (local) DB.

Running mxgetdbinfo results in no errors.

Anyway, when I try to install v7.4 wie HP SIM Setup, I get following error message:

HP SIM is installed in Windows 2008 R2 Server with local SQL 2012 Express SP1 DB.

Any ideas? Could this be a permission problem?

I would test the connection with the management studio you need to be sure that the mixed mode is working .

I saw many installation which did not work with user name and password because the testing was done with windows authentication.

Authentication Mode is set to Windows only.

What i figured out, that there have been no new entries at the CMS since the db migration.

I think the CMS is not writing data into the db.

Is there any way to check the connection between CMS and database?
