Hi Team,

We are running the below setup and we want to upgrade to the latest software version .

Please let us know the proper procedure to achieve this.

It will be helpful if you provide document which contains the steup by step procedure.

Current Version :

HP SIM -> 7.1

VCEM -> Revision Version 7.1 Update 1

OS - > WINDOWS

Upgrade to the below version:

HP SIM -> 7.4

VCEM -> 7.4.1 patch update 1

OS -> WINDOWS

Hello,

You would first need to update to version 7.2. From here you can perform an upgrade to version 7.4 with the setup program. If you use the buildin reports i recommend a clean 7.4 inststall because updating will give you errors in the reports. If you don't need these reports you could do the update.

Yes by doing some google yesterday, i was able to find that out.

Could you please help me with some documents to upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2?

Also if I do fresh 7.4 install, how about the data migration from current system to new system?

The 7.1 to 7.2 should be possible with the normal setup. With a clean set you can do either a new install on the same server or place a new server and do an export import and repair for the new server. So what is your plan with the 7.4 install? Same server or new?
