Hi all, I have several servers that are being added to SIM that are just appearing with an ip address instead of a name. Some (but not all) of these servers are behind a firewall (plant PLC network) that is between them and the SIM server, so I am assuming that it's just not able to do a reverse lookup of the name. Any suggestions as to how I can change it so that I get "tpcitts1:Cold Start" instead of "10.33.27.222:Cold Start"?

Hello

HPSIM uses DNS and it needs both Forward and Reverse Entries to resolve correctly before it will display the name in HPSIM.

Second options,
Try to use Windows host file.

I.
