HP SIM 7.x installation fails on Server 2012 Standart?

I can not install HP SIM on WIndows Server 2012 Standard.

Unsupported OS error appears.

Release notes says, java can not detect OS version. But I can not slve this issue,

a few month ago SIM 7.4 installed without any issue, but today I can not install.

I don't know what to do?

Don't you mean Windows 2012 ?

I would think it's a servicepack issue, did you install SP2 on your server ?

The question is not if you can install SP2 but if you got SP2 installed this could be a problem. What is the SP level of the server... Is it a R2 2012 or just a Windows 2012 ?

problem solved by demoting server. After removing AD from server, setup now working.

HP shoud pay attention to this issue

Correct,

Missed that, due to the security restrictions you will run into problems. For a small setup you could setup a virtual server.
