Cannot install HP Version Control Agent 7.3.5 on Windows Server 2003 32-bits

Hello,

When trying to install/upgrade the HP Version Control Agent I am getting some errors on Windows Servers 2003 32-bits

Faulting application cpqsetup.exe, version 2.6.0.0, faulting module vcasetup.dll, version 7.3.5.0, fault address 0x0007e5f7.

Faulting application cp026910.exe, version 7.3.5.0, faulting module cp026910.exe, version 7.3.5.0, fault address 0x0000229b.

What should I do?

Hi,

I cannot comment on 0x0 error code or the dll file.

Have you tried uninstalling VCA completely and then do a fresh install?

You may try the following:
Launch Windows Task Manager and kill the 'vcagent' service if it exists.
Uninstall HP VCA.
Reboot the server.
Install HP VCA.
