Guys,
Insight 7 allows paging and email alerting to be turned off, this was handy when bouncing a server.

How can this be achieved in SIM4.1, it would be handy to turn this off whilst a server is bouncing. I don't want to remove any of the email & pager config whilst this happens.

Any advise will be greatfully received.

I'm not sure how you accomplished this in IM7--that definitely wasn't a feature. This capability has been requested multiple times and is on the future wish list. The idea is a kind of "snooze button" to easily suspend systems from monitoring.

One way to possibly achieve this is to edit the list that monitoring is done against and add the server in question to an exception list.
