VCRM 7.5.2-0 Linux Empty Catalog - unble to rescan repo

Hello,

I setup VCRM on Linux (with HP SIM 7.5).
I'm not able to upload a SPP. The web UI miss some tabs. I made an "Update from HP", and repository directory was filled with latest dupport pack, but catalog stoll empty. The link "rescan repository" is missing.

Hello,

Did you try a different browser ? I also have the Windows VCRM, same version and seem to have more tabs.

You can also place the SPP in the repository folder en restart the VCRM, this should trigger the scan and fill the VCRM.

Why don't you use the SPP with HPSUM ? the VCRM is a legacy application.

Hello,
I tested using differents browsers and nothing change.
Just restarted VCRM but no catalog rebuild.

I've never used HPSUM. It works like VCRM? I need a way to download updates one times ad distribuite over may servers.

If you want to download a SPP, you can do so here: http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/spp/index.aspx

For this download you need a support contract, the SPP contains HPSUM, this is a Linux or Windows executable that you can either run from a boobable ISO from your ILO. You can also run the extracted foler to install a local or remote server(s).
