Where can I find HP SIM 7.5.1 ?

Where can I find HP SIM 7.5.1? Version 7.5.1 is mentioned in a few places:

Even after installing the latest Hotfix named "SIM75_hotfix_2016_Apr_win.exe" does not bring my version up to 7.5.1.

It will not show as 7.5.1

if it shows the hotfixes listed it's "7.5.1"

Your fine other than the naming....

I stumbled across where to get 7.5.1 (also written as 7.5 Update 1)

Visit http://www.hpe.com/support/softwaredepot
Ignore the link at the bottom of the page under "Other useful links" named "Systems Insight Manager product information"
Expand Product Category -> "Insight Management" -> click on "Insight Control". That takes you to this page: https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductsList.do?category=INSIGHT

Click on "HP Insight Management Media"
Review the notes on this page and then click the green "Select" button on the upper right.
Log into your HP Passport account.
Proceed through the process of downloading the ISO file. As of this writing the file is named "Insight_Management_v7.5_update_1_May_2016_Z7550-01909.iso"

The Insight control 7.5.1 will update the other IC plugins to 7.5.1 and will display 7.5.1 but SIM will always show as 7.5..0 at the top.

I did notice that too... bummer. So how can other people confirm they are running HP SIM 7.5 Update 1 if they want to be sure they are protected against the issues described in the Security Bulletin linked in my first post? Which "hotfix" number is the one that is equivilent to 7.5.1?

Running through the updater from the ISO yesterday I did notice that version of the System Management Homepage was bumped up to a newer version so I guess my time wasn't totally wasted.

I downloaded the "Insight Management v7.5 update 1 May 2016" iso, but all attempts to install crash with the following error:

"Error Number: 0x80040707

Description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT._WaitOnDiaglog

Setup will now terminate"

My preference was to just run a SIM update, but the hpsim\installer directory in the ISO is empty. It doesn't look like HP has released 7.5.1 as a stand alone install. I don't think it's upgraded when you run the hotfixes available on the HP site (released in April 2016).

Anyone know of a place to get the SIM 7.5.1 stand alone installer (outside of the Insight Control iso)?

Andrew -- the problem with the "Hotfix for April" readme is that does not make any mention of being equivilent to version 7.5.1 (or 7.5 update 1).

At this point, there does not appear to be any way for someone to confirm that their HP-SIM installation is running version 7.5.1 (or 7.5 update 1).
