Dear all,

An internal assessement recommend us to upgrade the HP System Management Homepage of a DL380 G8 server (OS Windows 2008R2. The version of the System Management Homepage is 7.1.2.3.)

Where can I find the procedure? What should be prepared before the upgrade.

The update does not require any prepairing, the software should work just fine, one advice would be to also update the VCA if installed and also update the Management Agents. These can be found here: http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5194969&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4064

Then look under the Software - System Management.

The attach listed HP softwore installed in the machine. Frankly speak I don't use them frequently. May I know which one I must update and which one I can uninstall if I don't use them.

Pure from a monitoring point you only need the HP System Management Homepage and HP Insight Management WBEM Providers for Windows. The WBEM can be used or if you like the HP Inisght Agents but choose which but not both.
