About SIM 7.5 and upgrades

Hello all, i have some questions about 7.5 and upgrades

1-) Does SIM 7.5 is compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2 Server core? I found this official documentation about system requeriments, and dont say nothing about 2012 server core ( http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?calledBy=Search_Result&docId=c04764057&docLocale=en_US)

2-) I need to upgrade my SIM version 6.3 to 7.5: what is best for me? upgrade 6.3 to 7.5 or unistall the 6.3 and install 7.5 ?

1 ) No

2) Better to uninstall and install 7.5/7.6

Upgrade path is to go to 6.3 > 7.2 > 7.4 > 7.5/7.6 Less headache plus OS\SQL requirements for each step.

But if i chose uninstall the 6.3 version for install 7.5, i will need a new license? or can i use the same license of 6.3 for install 7.5?

You can transfer the license over but you will need to contact the licensing dept. the naming scheme on the licenses changed. So call in and they will be able to convert it for you.

Yes the licence will still work.
