topic Need repeat pages / alerts in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

When a host goes down in SIM 4.2, you can set up a task to page on "status change" events. I have done this. However, I cannot get SIM to keep paging until the issue is fixed. I would like to have sim page every interval when there is any host in the critical state that is unde ractive monitoring. Ideally an escalation function would be nice. Anyone know of someone doing this / testing this?

HP SIM doesn't have a way of doing this. You can't repeat an event like this.

You could send the event off to another tool (a 3rd party paging application) that would do it though. I know there are 3rd party application that will repeat and escalate and give you 2-way pager support that are really strong pager-based solutions.
