Hi all,

I am trying to set up HP SIM in my lab with the correct toolbox associations, export them to an XML and import them back to the production system.

I have created a number of custom toolboxes, and SIM Custom Tools. I can add these tools to the toolboxes via the GUI, but I can't find a way to export and then import that association info via the CLI.

I know that when you create a Custom Tool you can specify the toolbox association with the <TOOLBOX toolbox-name=""> attribute, but this does not help me associate all the default SIM toolboxes.

I have read the mxtoolbox man pages, and I may be blind, but I can't see a way to do this...

What I would like to do is, for example, export in XML the contents of the toolbox "Monitor Tools", add some other tools, then import it back. Is this possible?</TOOLBOX>
