Hello

Apologies if this is the wrong sub forum to discuss the management agent but it seemed the most appropriate.

We are in the proccess of upgrading from ESX 3.5u4 with Agent 8.2.0. to ESX 4.0u2 Agent 8.3.1 for 4.0

In the past in order to avoid LUN locking and other nasty issues I have had to edit /opt/compaq/cma.conf and add the following lines to disable the Fibre Channel Agent etc.

exclude cmahost cmahostd cpqasm cmhp cmafcad

http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1004771

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c01519875&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN%20

One of my colleuges has setup a test environment and it seems this path no longer exists.

Can anyone advise me please on how this can be done?

Thanks

Doug
