HP Event Notifier Email setup

Greetings fellow techs, Need help setting up HP Event notifier.

Background : Just recently discovered this functionlaity.

I need to setup the event notifier. Here is the information I have inserted into the config wizard

From Address : <Email@gmail.com>

Mail server : smtp.gmail.com

Question number 1 : Does it not require a username and a password to send emails?

Question number 2 : How would I test this?

Hi Daniel,

If the email exchange domain is like gmail, yahoo, then you may have to setup a SMTP relay in your environment.

The event notifier is designed considering the email domain in local environment.
