HPE SIM LR5 Installation order

Morning all.

I would ike to check what order I need to install a new instance of Hpe Sim as I am in the process of installing a new instance ona windows 2016 virtual.

Do you need to install the hotfix install first and then do the upgrade after having done the basic config for alerting and also the discovery?

Install fresh copy of SIM & later update the required patches for better performance.
