<title>topic MSDE and MS03-031 Patch in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/msde-and-ms03-031-patch/m-p/3395735#M6553</link>
<description>I have HP SIM running on a Win2k3 box with MSDE instead of SQL server. When I last tried to run the MS03-031 patch, I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall MSDE as it was somehow hosed. The MSDE install that I did was the packaged install with SIM 4.x. Has anyone had any success in installing this patch without hosing MSDE? Thanks in advance for your help.</description>
