      <description>I want to install Insight Manager on my HP 360DL but during the installation of the SQL server the setup is hanging when "performing initial database population"&lt;BR /&gt;I'm using Windows 2003 standard edition.&lt;BR /&gt;Does anybody know how to solve this?</description>

      <description>The reason I asked is because the typical cause of that hang during SIM installation is when trying to install SIM using an existing SQL 2000 server which had been created using a non default collation sequence.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When the install hangs before you abort it you might look in the C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\logs directory to see what the actual error was.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also MSDE creates a detailed log during installation which can be found at c:\msde.log</description>

      <description>I've found the logfile msde.log and anything seems to be ok. On the server is also installed the oracle enterprise manager with a small oracle database for the data from the enterprise manager self.&lt;BR /&gt;Can that cause the problem?</description>
