topic HP SIM and Redundancy in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Hello.

I've browsed trough the forum and seen some post about running HP SIM on a MS cluster. I've also noted that NLB is not supported. Is there a way to set up HP SIM for redundancy in any other way than on the cluster itself?I'm currently running HP SIM on one server and the database on a cluster wich works fine.

What I'd like to do is to have another server running HP SIM, connecting to the same DB on the cluster and make the two nodes aware of eachother, without creating double up of reporting/alerts etc. Is there a way to do this ?

Rgds,
Paul Aaserudseter
Omninett AS
