Thanks for your reply Luis!

Is there a central way to configure all client to trust CMS? The only way I know how to do it is to configure each client individually to trust by certificate.

Hi,

Do i need to configure version control manager to point to the repository on each managed server individually or is there a way to centrally configure that on the CMS? Also is there a way to centrally configure the trust by certificate option for managed servers?

Thanks,
Ana

You can make a support pack distribution task to all servers.

Also, you can configure the support pack with all the parameters you need.

When you run the support pack make sure that you configure the agents. They are marked in a folder labeled, "Configurable items"

Luis

Thanks for your response. Do you need to configure anything on the target systems before you can run this task?

Just make sure that the target servers have the CMS in the trusted list and that snmp is configured in a R/W community.

Besides that, there is nothing more to configure.

Be aware that some items in the support pack might require a server reboot.

You can select not to reboot the servers, but not all of the features will be available unitl reoot.

Luis

When configuring the support pack, you can select trust by certificate and copy and paste de CMS in the area provided for the certificate data.

Whole configuration can be preset before sending the support pack or the Management Agents Support Pack to the targe servers.
