topic SIM and OpenSSH server on 2003 in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I'm trying to follow the readme that describes a 'workaround' for making OpenSSH server run on 2003.

Firstly, I will not follow their example of using the 'Administrator' account for the OpenSSH service account. Instead, I created a local admin account called "OpenSSH" with the create token object and replace token user rights. I can login locally as this account and it has full admin rights.

My problem is when I run 'mxagentconfig'. When I try to connect to my SIM server I get "failed to establish connection to <SERVER name="">".

I've used several account logons, all with the same problem.

What gives? What account does it want me to input there?

</SERVER>

Here is some more information:

In the application log on the SSH server when I try to connect I get:

Source: sshd
Description: Read from socket failed: connection reset by peer.

In the security log I get:

Event ID: 529
UserName: NOUSER
Domain: <BLANK>
Logon Type: 2
Caller name: OpenSSH (Service account I used)

So it appears it is having a communications/security problem with the localhost and isn't passing the username or domain information to the security authority and thus can't connect.</BLANK>

Try specifying just the user name without the domain
