I spoke with an HP consultant about this who indicated it was unsupported and would break the system. He warned me against ever doing it an indicated a re-install is required.

I changed IP adress on the server running HP SIM. Restarted the server and when starting SIM it only shows "Checking HTTP Server Status". Nothing more happens. Anybody knows what the problem is?

I am having this same issue. Moved the SIM Server to a new IP subnet that had Gigabit Ethernet and have not been able to get SIM going again. Get http status message same as you.
