The Version Control Repository Manager, or VCRM, supplies the Proliant Support Pack to hp Systems Insight Manager.

It is frequently the same system as hp SIM. Ironically, however, if the System Management Homepage for the SIM residing device does not trust SIM itself, neither will the VCRM.
I have installed a CMS and configured OpenSSH on the 1st managed windows 2003 system.

Also applied HP SIM 4.1 patch.

MXagentconfig etc. all worked.

SNMP traps configured OK.

Following instructions for installing PSP but getting this error:

Error retrieving catalog. Be sure a trust relationship is established with the repository device.

Any suggestions?

The above encountered problem will arise when CMS does not trust the managed node which has repository.

So, first you have to configure trust relationship with the managed node which has repository. For configuring trust relationship browse to SMH(System Management homepage) of the managed device and go to "settings -> options page" . In the "Trust Mode" section , select "Trust All" radio button, and click "Save Configuration button".

Now try installing PSP on the trusted managed node.
