HPSIM offers a more drill down approach.
I've set my main screen to be the All Systems Display.
I've customized that so that I get a summary of Uncleared Events and System Status.

If a System has a component failure the HW Status of that Server changes colour. You can sort by HW Status (this can be set in the Customize Screen) and so devices that have some kind of HW status would be at the top.

This would be dynamic, any Servers that had a HW status change to a worse state would move up the display.
But the traffic lights at the top also display that summary.

I'm not clear where in HPSIM you are.
I don't know if the various lists of events are dynamic. I think these are just lists from the database.
The various System lists are dynamic and I've used teh Customize option to have the Uncleared Events Status listed at the top right of the screen.
Thanks for the reply. I did post the question in a confusing way. I'm actually looking for a view where I will see the system name, date/time, and description where the description will display alarms types of thresholds, failed hard drives, inacessible devices, application failures just as in the old Alarm Log of Compaq's Insight Manager
