go to options/users and authorizations/ authorizations and make sure that the account you are logged in with has permissions to the systems, it sounds like they are discovered but you cannot view them

after install of HPSIM...I do not see any devices showing up anywhere. I configure all the global settings and I launch discoveries. According to the logs...they are getting responses from the 100+ server I have on the subnet but nothing shows up under any device. I've launched the various tasks from data collection to polling to see the same results...nothing. I see that the machines are being polled for data and the status screen marks them as "complete". When I try to manually add a machine...I get a "machine already exisits" message. What am I missing here? I can remember a slight delay from CIM7...but never this bad.

Help...

Under Home Page Settings, do you have All Systems set for the list?

Under Automatic Discovery Settings, uncheck the Use Discovery Filters box and rerun discovery.
