The second problem with entries in the above log is:

There appear to be loads of tasks executed with hex number associated to them, see attached log, anyone know what these are?

They appear to be system tasks. There are a number of automated system tasks running at any time on the system, such as polling tasks, data collection task, discovery tasks, etc.

Great that's all I wanted to know, cause I was worried that there was a great amount of error work going on in the backkground.
