My guess is that SNMP is not configured to send traps to the IM Server.

From the Services GUI, select SNMP Service and configure Traps. If you've not tweaked IM at all, just configure it to use the Public Community name and the destination is the IM Server.

I have recently configured my threshold limits in CIM and yet when the threshold is breached no event is generated to alert me. I can drill down to the device page of the individual server and see the gas gage has changed yellow or red and exceeded the set limits. Any ideas on how to get Insight to start kicking off alerts based on threshold breaches would be appreciated.
