Server Inventory Report

Is there a reason I see multiple entries for the same server when running the server inventory report. How do I fix this?

I am using HP SIM 4.1. When I run the report named Inventory - Server target name All Servers for some of the servers it shows multiple entries with the same information. For other servers it shows only one entry.

I have noticed the same thing on my SIM server. I think I may have appended data instead of over righting it when I ran a manual data collection. So now I have the current and old data showing up on my reports.

I am running SIM 4.1.

Let me know if there is a way to delete the second occurrence.

If you check through the Forum you will see a number of threads regarding duplicate entries and various reasons why they occur.

HPSIM 4.2 is supposed to address some of these issues.
