HPSIM 4.2 Performance Issue on View Tasks Screen

If I go to this screen, it takes an age to actually come up, once it does it uses all of the CPU on my Workstation ( a Dell GX260 1.7GHz with 512MB Mem).
The Total of Tasks is listed at 1402.
It makes using this screen pretty much impossible.

I have posted thee same question, also it's a nightmare.

in mx.properties I have even tried cahnging the properties of "MX_JOB_MAX_COMPLETED_JOBS_PER_TASK=10"(Task results for frequently scheduled tasks start to drop off after 10 instances.) I have tried changing this it 1 but it doesn't appear to work.

Also I've tried editing "MX_JOB_MAX_COMPLETED_JOB_AGE=30" (The long lifetime defaults to 30 days.), nothing works.........

if you find an answer I would be appreciated to hear it!

I've no idea, hopefully others who see the same issue will add to the thread and that might get the attention of HP.
Otherwise I might need to open a call. But I usually ask here first as it's often something already spotted and work is in progress.

I am having the same problem. This thread has come up many times in the past. It always gets the same response. Change the config file. People change it and still have the problem. The thread usually dies after that and we never get an answer. It seems that is would be as simple as opening the database and cleaning out the old tasks. My console got up to about 3000 tasks. Now, if it comes up at all, I can't do anything because it tries to go to a refresh state as soon as it loads. Help here would be greatly appreciated.
